Cherry – A Dance Parlor, Exclusive Event Venue & Bar -Rounds Out Cherry Creek North’s Nightlife

Gart Properties LLC leases former Manhattan Grill space on Milwaukee Street and Second Avenue What do you do when your wife complains there is no place for the discerning adult to go dancing without glow sticks, lasers and techno music? You create an adult dance parlor and bar, of course!  And so, Cherry was born. Cherry is owned by Managing Partner Michael J. “M.O.” Olsen and minority partner Little Pub Company and its principals Mark Berzins, K.C. Gallagher, John Hauser & Mariner Kemper, whose wives were the inspirations behind the creation of this upscale venue. Cherry is located at 231 Milwaukee Street between First Western Trust Bank and SoCo Salon & Spa.  “We chose this location because it is surrounded by guests that most closely fit our target demographic”, said M.O., former owner of Hush and Pizza Republica, and current owner of Wicked Garden on Larimer Square.  “Wicked Garden caters to a much younger crowd. We wanted to create an inviting spot for the 30 to 50’s and above age range.  Cherry Creek fit the bill perfectly.” Cherry opened to the public on December 17, 2011 to lots of buzz after hosting several high-profile private events. It is now open Wednesday from 5:00 PM to close, Thursday through Saturday from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM and   Happy Hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.  With a bar, dance parlor, exclusive liquor lockers, and a private VIP room, Cherry is available for gatherings of up to 300 guests, and individual guests who are looking for a fun night of dancing and visiting with friends. The age-appropriate music format is comprised of fun and friendly dance, soul, rock, pop, R&B and funk from the 70’s to today. There is a strict dress code, which means no athletic gear, baseball hats, or running or basketball sneakers. “We are delighted to have Cherry as a tenant”, said Mark Sidell, President of Gart Properties.  “We have been seeking a strong operator for the space and Cherry fits the bill.”
