Denver Pavilions will add two more new tenants this fall, continuing a wave of transformation at the downtown shopping center.
National retailers Papyrus and Fragrance Outlet will open stores on the Pavilion’s ground floor in November, just in time for the holiday shopping season, mall owner Gart Properties announced Monday.
“These two stores are really going to play well with the other merchants, especially during the holidays,” spokeswoman Wendy Manning said.
For Papyrus, a greeting card and gift accessory brand, the Pavilions store will be its fifth in Colorado, joining locations in Cherry Creek, Park Meadows, Flatiron Crossing and 29th Street in Boulder.
Fragrance Outlet, which sells designer perfumes and fragrances, has one other Colorado location, in the Outlets at Castle Rock.
The tenant announcements are the latest in a series of developments at the Pavilions, which confirmed last week that Barnes & Noble will close Dec. 31.
Japanese casual-wear retailer Uniqlo will move into the two-story bookstore space, opening by fall 2016. H&M is also expanding to a third level and bringing in its Home collection, currently in about five stores nationwide.
In September, Henry’s Tavern opened in the mall’s long-vacant Virgin Megastore storefront. The Portland, Ore.-based restaurant has agreed not to open another Colorado location for at least 10 years.
