Gart Properties LLC leases space between Subway and Yellowbelly to Nudoru on N. Frontage Road in West Vail.
Denver, Colorado – October 31, 2014 –
Nudoru opened on October 15, 2014 in the former Gohan-ya space in West Vail Mall. Located at 2161 N. Frontage Road, Unit 12, Nudoru features tonkotsu ramen, a Japanese noodle soup dish consisting of Chinese-style wheat noodles served in a rich, pork based broth often served with pickled ginger and sesame oil. Nudoru is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. A grand opening event is planned for mid-November.
This is a new business venture for owner, Christopher McKenzie. “In addition to Vail, we looked in Steamboat Springs and Denver but this location in Vail was the best deal,” said McKenzie. “We wanted a location that catered to the local residents and West Vail Mall fit the bill.” “We are the only tonkotsu restaurant within a 100 mile radius and we’ve had great response since opening.” McKenzie has 21 years’ experience in the industry. Of note is his stint with Intrawest as the Executive Sous-Chef of Resort Operations in Steamboat Springs.
The lease term on the 877 square foot space is 5 years.
